Karan Bhalla Reflects on His Rise: From Struggles to Cherished Milestones
Karan Bhalla may be a familiar face in the entertainment world today, but his journey to success has been anything but smooth. As he prepares for the release of his latest web series Mai Hero Bol Raha Hu, the actor takes a moment to reflect on the challenges that shaped his career and the lessons they left behind.
“There was a time when I didn’t even have a place to stay. I remember spending a night sleeping in my car at Marine Drive,” Bhalla told IANS. “It was tough, but I’ve always seen those struggles as meaningful. They’re memories I truly cherish because every hardship helped me grow.”
Opening up about his early days, Bhalla revealed that overcoming his natural shyness was one of the biggest obstacles he faced. Determined to push past it, he turned to theatre and acting school to hone his craft.
“I was an introvert when I started out. I knew I had to break free from that if I wanted to succeed, so I enrolled in an acting course and did theatre. That exposure helped me come into my own. Today, I can confidently face the camera and perform for large audiences,” he said.
Now stepping into unfamiliar territory with a gritty, crime-based role in Mai Hero Bol Raha Hu, Bhalla is eager to explore a new dimension of his talent.
“Crime dramas are really resonating with audiences right now. We’ve all been influenced by web series that explore the prison system and the criminal world. Taking on a character in that space was both challenging and exciting. Audiences mostly know me as a romantic lead, so this role is a real turning point for me. I can’t wait to see how people respond.”
